Back in Luanda

Well, we made it back to Luanda. After 35 hours of driving, getting lost for about 10 hours, crossing a couple rivers and spending a couple nights in the car.
It was worth it though. At least we didn't get shipwrecked, beaten, or thrown into prison like Paul.
Since getting back we've done two activities with the handicapped children, shown the Jesus film, the Cross and the Switchblade and done a Family Festival in one of the churches on the outskirts of the city.

Pray for us now. We've approached the U.S. embassy about funding a vocational school for streetgirls of Luanda, and the Samuel Foundation is considering funding the building of a group home for them.
Also, in August we have our big children's ministries exposition with a team of children's ministries specialists coming in from Massachusetts to help.
September we have a healthcare ministries team coming in to help us minister to handicapped children in the provinces, as well as their families.

In July we're hoping to receive a couple teachers from the states to teach upper level pastor's courses and we also want to take the motorcycles out into the mountains of Gabela to reach some mountain villages (where cars can't go). Everyone should have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus at least once!
